I've ride it all year round including winter, it's heavy, it's not fast but it's reliable. It pulls my fat ass, 2 kids, their books and snacks with no issues.

I got it to pick up my kids from school, the lineup of cars is soooo long, with the bike and trailer I zip in and zip out.
Super satisfied, for the price it's really hard to beat. I'm 2000 miles in, and its still working fine Its definitely fun though and i enjoy pulling away from the mamils at the lights and watching them try thier hardest to keep up in my mirror. I max out at about 26mph on the flats, and the battery gets me to work and back easily on a single charge (20 miles round trip) The BBS02 is powerful and it sometimes feels like im just assisting the motor, and not the other way around. If you ride in a lower gear and high assist, the motor just spins to fast for you to keep up, so you cant add and effort to it, and so just end up ghost pedalling (i tend to ride in a single gear, unlike before the motor where i was changing all the time) (high gear selection and low power assist) but this means i dont get top speed. My only complaint is not being able to do all the pedalling when i want, although there is a compromise. (i did have it on an old Sirrus pro, but the frame developed a nasty crack) He loves the bike so much he bought a second one so he'd have one Ludicrous and one vanilla.īrand new Specialized sirrus 1.0 with a bbs02 kit attached and a 17.5ah battery. I have a friend who's Bafang M600 drive failed in his one of his Luna X-1 bikes, and Luna sent him a replacement drive within a few days. I seriously could not be happier with the bike and the company. They sent me the parts to replace the charge port. I shorted the charge connector on my battery in a fluke accident. I busted my bash guard to pieces hopping logs (I've since cut that out since it's so hard on the bike).
Luna sent me a throttle cable pig tail that I used to do a repair. I have had zero major problems with the bike, and Luna support has been absolutely fantastic for the minor issues: I have more than 2,000 miles (90% off-road) on the bike and I absolutely love it.
